Twitter has a feature called find friends and it is a feature for android or iphone app. It is a feature that allow you to search for friends in your contact and add them into twitter. They have been complained that twitter store your ip address, browser type, page visited, etc from your phone to their storage. Twitter spokesman does claim that they do do that but they will change it with the new update now instead of it saying scan friends it will be upload contact, import contact, etc.
I think this is a big announcement because it just show that you don't really have much of a privacy anymore using it. Also I think it is good to know that they did that and they admit that they do do it. Keeping other people's privacy stuff is always wrong but they did admit that they did it. I also think that twitter is different from any other social networking site and that it should be better with the new update.
